Nature of the Service

Guided tours in French and English for groups and individuals.
For quality and comfort reasons, the guide cannot take care of a group of more than 40 people (or fewer depending on the sites visited).
Reservations and payment for third-party services (museums, castles, restaurants, etc.) are to be made directly by the client.
The guide’s meals are not included in the guiding fee (for full-day services) and remain the responsibility of the client.
Transport costs may be added depending on travel requests:
€0.80/km applies for guide travel (guide-only services), and €1.30 to €1.50/km applies for driver-guide services.

Liability & Insurance

The guide is covered by professional liability insurance (RC Pro) under contract n° 315710112000 with Gan Assurances.
The guide cannot be held responsible for any incidents resulting from circumstances beyond their control

Force majeure

The guide cannot be held liable for failure to perform the service in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to: strikes, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, site closures, or any external event beyond the guide’s control
In the event of dangerous weather conditions (such as storms, heatwaves, flooding, or any situation presenting a risk to safety), the guide reserves the right to cancel or adapt the visit.
Whenever possible, alternative solutions (rescheduling or modification of the itinerary) will be proposed.

Cancellation Condition

In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the start of the service, 100% of the amount of the tour provided on the quote is due.
In case of cancellation within two weeks prior to the tour, 50% of the amount provided on the quote is due.
For any other cancellation, only the 30% deposit is due.

Delays

The guide's service time begins at the time indicated on the quote.
In case of delay by the client, the waiting time is deducted from the guide's service time.
If the wait exceeds one hour, the contract is considered terminated at the client’s initiative and the full amount of the visit provided for on the quote is due.

Reservation

Once the reservation has been made, a quote is sent to the client.
The client must return it signed with the mention “bon pour accord” within 30 days from the date of issue, by email to: visites@immersive-normandy.com or by post.

In case of last-minute booking, without confirmation 24 hours before the service, the reservation is cancelled
The booking only becomes effective upon receipt of the signed quote
Upon confirmation, the client agrees to pay a 30% deposit of the total amount stated on the quote.
The signature of the quote constitutes a binding contract and implies acceptance of the present terms and conditions.

Payment & Invoicing

Payment can be made: by bank transfer, via a credit card payment link (available upon request), or on the day of the visit directly to the guide (cash or credit card). Payment by bank transfer after the visit is also possible.

Bank details: IBAN: FR7616606030118489268497884 BIC: AGRIFRPP866 NB: For payments made from abroad (outside the euro zone), transaction fees are the responsibility of the client. Upon receipt of payment and completion of the service, an invoice will be issued confirming payment.
NB : Pour les paiements effectués depuis l’étranger (hors zone euro), les frais bancaires sont à la charge du client.
Après réception du paiement et réalisation de la prestation, une facture acquittée est émise.
Late Payment (Professional Clients
In accordance with article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code, any late payment will automatically result in the application of late payment penalties calculated at the legal rate in force. In addition, a fixed compensation of €40 for recovery costs will be due by professional clients, in accordance with article D441-5 of the French Commercial Code.
Une indemnité forfaitaire de 40 € pour frais de recouvrement est également due par les clients professionnels, conformément à l’article D441-5 du Code de commerce.

VAT & Taxation

Prices are expressed without VAT where applicable. For services provided to business clients established outside France, VAT is not applicable in accordance with article 259-1 of the French General Tax Code.
Pour les prestations fournies à des clients professionnels établis hors de France, la TVA n’est pas applicable conformément à l’article 259-1 du Code général des impôts.
Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, jurisdiction is assigned to the competent courts of Caen.
En cas de litige, et à défaut de résolution amiable, les tribunaux compétents de Caen sont seuls compétents.

Ensuring the Best Possible Visit Experience

The persons responsible for supervising the group (teachers, parents, group leaders, etc.) are responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and discipline of the group, allowing the guide to focus entirely on delivering the visit.
